As Past President I wanted to express that I have thoroughly enjoyed serving in this office and take with me so many meaningful memories of working with a group of committed individuals who just want to make CTE better for all of us and our students. The board’s accomplishments this year are many but the following stand out – we are in the process of hiring an Executive Director, we have entered into a partnership with West CTA DECA to handle our new Twitter and Facebook accounts, we are also in the process of developing a new website, and we continue to be a ACTE Quality Association Award Winner. It was a busy year! The experience has increased my leadership, organizational, and overall professional skills. I am truly humbled and honored by the experience. I encourage all of you to step up and get more involved in NACTE, you won’t regret it.
